Each of our partners is unique, requiring creative, customized programs. Northeastern has delivered successful solutions that support the diverse needs of employees—from ballet dancers to engineers. We work with an array of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, startups, and nonprofit organizations, as their corporate development and talent partner. Here are a few examples:
General Electric in partnership with Northeastern developed an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Advanced Manufacturing program. The program is believed to be the first of its kind in the nation — combining the global leadership of Northeastern in experiential education and GE in manufacturing.
Together, Boston Ballet and Northeastern University help dancers prepare for life after their all-too-short careers. This partnership provides dancers with the opportunity to earn Bachelor’s or advanced degrees while continuing their demanding practice and performance schedule.
Major League Baseball (MLB)
Major League Baseball has partnered with Northeastern University to be MLB's preferred education provider.
"Major League Baseball has long understood the importance of player development, both on and off the field," said Paul Mifsud, MLB's vice president and deputy general counsel for labor relations and player programs. "MLB's agreement with Northeastern University will provide players with a variety of world-class options to continue their personal and professional development."

Targeted trainings can provide much-desired skills to staff and help with staff retention. Trainings can even be customized to be credit-bearing and used later toward a degree or certificate. Some examples include: Building Teams, Grant Writing, and How to Mitigate Project Risk.
