Graduate Special Student Status
- Students taking courses under special student status are not eligible for financial aid
- Special student status does not guarantee acceptance
- Students studying in special student status must abide by the prerequisite course requirements listed in the course catalog
- You may take a maximum of 16 QH in special student status
- After completing 16 QH, you will be blocked from further course registration until you have been officially admitted into a program
Transfer Credit Policies

English Language Proficiency Exam Scores
English Language proficiency exam scores are valid for two calendar years from the date of the exam.
Application Withdrawal Due to Inactivity
- An application can be incomplete up to one year before it is automatically withdrawn due to inactivity
- To reactivate an application, applicants have one year to do so from the time of their application withdrawal

Academic Deferrals & Enrollment Deposits
To request to defer your application, please complete an inquiry.
Please note that for accepted students who have paid their CPS enrollment deposit but do not start in their original accepted start term, they must request to defer the acceptance or enroll within two terms of the accepted term; otherwise the enrollment deposit may be forfeited.
