Dr. Charles Long, Deputy Provost of Yale University, a representative from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), conducted an on-site visit on October 6th at the College of Professional Studies. The purpose of the visit was to review the progression of the Global Leadership Program (GLP) operated by the College in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
Northeastern staff presented an overview, discussed the finances, and the academic leadership of the program. Dr. John LaBrie, College Interim Dean; Dr. Patrick Plunkett, Senior Associate Dean, International Engagement; Mr. Michael Gladstone, Associate Dean, Finance and Administration; Mr. Mark Gould, Associate Dean, Academic and Faculty Affairs; Ms. Kristin Mullaney, Assistant Dean, Academic and Faculty Affairs; Ms. Jane Edmonds, Academic Specialist, Leadership and Senior Fellow; and Hong (Helen) Zhang, Assistant Dean, International Program Development, participated in the review process.
To finalize his review, Dr. Long will travel to Swinburne at the end of October for a two-day site visit at Swinburne University of Technology.
