Understanding how government works is important. But sometimes, no matter how much you read or study, it’s hard to understand the complicated processes that government employs to make big and small decisions. That’s why it’s so great we have access to someone who spent 30 years working at the state level to help us understand it all. Former MA House Speaker, current Northeastern University Fellow of Public Life and CPS Professor, Bob DeLeo, will address questions from the audience. He’ll talk about his career, what it’s like to be Speaker, both the up and downsides to a career in politics, and how things get accomplished.
The conversation is moderated by Natalie Bowers, CPS Communications Manager.
Bring your questions, or submit them ahead of time! Enjoy this session to learn and listen as Bob brings his 30 years of government experience to the table, sharing all he knows!
