About
Azadeh is a Senior Data Scientist at Microsoft, Health AI team working on applications of operations research in healthcare and deep learning for NLP. She got her Ph.D. in Operations Research from University of Houston, TX in 2013 and has more than seven years of professional experience in analytics, optimization, simulation and machine learning. Azadeh has worked on blood collection optimization, appointment scheduling and load leveling surgical physician schedules during her studies, and she also worked on network optimization, a/b experimentation, abstractive text summarization and flexible shift scheduling for hospital care team members. She is currently teaching graduate level Optimization, Simulation and SQL at the College of Professional Studies.
