About

As a technology executive, Dr. Kapfhammer has over 25 years of experience in a variety of strategic, operational and managerial roles.  He currently serves as a senior leader in Accenture’s Testing & Quality Practice.  Prior to that, he worked as VP of North America for Capgemini’s Software Testing Practice and for Bank of America where he was an SVP for the world’s largest Software Testing Center of Excellence.  He has served in various executive positions in the Information Technology industry, which include owning responsibility for:

Dr. Kapfhammer serves on several non-profit executive boards in the Charlotte, NC, area, and recently stepped down as the Mayor of his suburban town.  He received his undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Penn State University.  He earned his Master's in Information Systems Management with an emphasis on Quality Assurance from American University and his PhD in Information Technology from George Mason University.  He lives in Charlotte, NC, with his wife and two daughters.
