About

Donald Columbare is a part-time professor in the Master of Science in Project Management program.  He teaches the following courses: Project Scheduling and Cost Planning, Capstone, Project Risk Management and Project Management Practices. Professor Columbare has over 35 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry as a supervisor, system analyst, project manager, business manager and associate director. He recently retired as an associate director within AT&T Global Project Management organization. In this capacity, he led a team of project managers and he has gained over 20 years of project management and leadership experience. Professor Columbare has been involved with many large and complex projects that have been challenging and rewarding. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2002.  He also has a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and AT&T School of Business. Professor Columbare also holds a Master of Business Administration from National University and a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University.  He also served as a Communications Officer (Second Lieutenant through Major) in the United States Marine Corps in both active and reserve components for 20 years.
