Dr. Geofrey T. Mills

Dr. Geofrey Mills has taught economic and finance for three decades in a number of institutions both in the US and abroad.  Dr. Mills earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois with specialties in macroeconomic stabilization, international economics and finance. He is a published scholar in these fields and has devoted the bulk of his career to academic administration. Dr. Mills brings to Northeastern this wealth of administrative experience, especially in accreditation, faculty development, international higher education and branch campus management. The recipient of three Fulbright Fellowships he has held administrative appointments as both a dean and vice president in Greece, Dubai and Beirut. He has held faculty appointments and taught in MBA programs at numerous institutions in both the United States and abroad. A dedicated globalist Dr. Mills was attracted to the opportunity at Northeastern because of its positive trajectory in global education; the resource available to a school located near the heart of international business and global civil society; the opportunity to make a contribution toward developing its students.
