About
Peter teaches in the law and policy doctoral program. He has been a full-time faculty member at Harvard University and a part-time faculty member at Columbia, the University of Chicago, NYU, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the former president of the Great Books Foundation as well as the Antioch New England Graduate School, and formerly serves as Dean and Campus Chief Executive at Northeastern's Seattle campus. Peter is the founder and president of the Institute for Innovation in Large Organizations, and the author of several books, including most recently We the People: Human Purpose in a Digital Age. He holds a PhD in English and American Literature from Columbia University, where his dissertation topic was "Martin Luther King, Black Power, and the Idea of History."
