Northeastern Sponsors 2012 Charlotte UltraSwim and Reaches Prospective Students

As part of Northeastern’s outreach in Charlotte, North Carolina, home to the university’s newest regional campus, Dave Czesniuk (pictured far right), senior associate director of Sport in Society, attended the 2012 Charlotte UltraSwim competition and met with athletes, coaches and fans about graduate programs such as the Master of Sports Leadership and the flexibility of hybrid and online degree program formats.
The Charlotte UltraSwim is a USA Swimming Grand Prix Series meet and this year featured the top 700 swimmers in the world. While there, Czesniuk received the opportunity to present medals to the top three finishers of the men’s and women’s 200 freestyle event, which included awarding a medal to Michael Phelps (pictured far left).
This was the 28th Annual Charlotte UltraSwim presented by SwimMAC Carolina, a local swimming association. The Charlotte UltraSwim was held at Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.
