Please provide 3 words that encapsulate your Northeastern University experience:
Resilience . Transformation. Community
Where are you from or where do you consider home?
Ghana
What has your journey at Northeastern University revealed to you about yourself?
My journey at Northeastern has revealed that I’m far more adaptable and courageous than I thought. Whether it was stepping into a completely new country, balancing work and academics, or navigating unfamiliar environments, I learned how to lead, learn, and thrive even when things felt overwhelming. I discovered that I’m not just a student; I’m a problem solver, a team player, and a builder of meaningful connections
What motivated you to continue through challenging times in obtaining your degree?
What kept me going was the ‘why’; the bigger picture. I carried the hopes of my family, the sacrifices they made, and my own dream of becoming someone who makes an impact in the world. I also found strength in my community at Northeastern: classmates who became friends, professors who believed in me, and campus events that reminded me life could still be joyful even during tough times
Where do you imagine yourself five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself leading large-scale projects in the construction or infrastructure sector, managing cross-functional teams across borders, and mentoring other international students stepping into the same shoes I once wore. I want to be known not just for what I build, but for how I lead with empathy, strategy, and boldness.
Is there anything else you wanted to say that we didn’t cover?
I will like to say, Northeastern has challenged me to learn through ways I never thought I could.
