Global Survey Reinforces Lifelong Learning Imperative
Majorities of people in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom think that artificial intelligence will improve their lives, but they believe that higher education, government, and employers are not doing enough to improve their skills. Fears that the new era of automation will leave educated workers behind are crystallized by a first-of-its-kind survey conducted by Northeastern University and Gallup. Learn more about the survey results here.

Khoury College of Computer Sciences

A recent survey of IT executives found that while only 4% of organizations have begun to invest and deploy AI initiatives, 46% have plans to do so in the near future. The same survey surfaces two challenges in the adoption of artificial intelligence: the availability of skilled and experienced staff, and the lack of IT and business understanding of AI’s potential. All of which means investing in a graduate education in AI today will pay big dividends tomorrow. The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Khoury College prepares professionals for leadership roles in this burgeoning sphere of the technological landscape, educating students in the creation and administration of AI systems that can reason and respond to complex realities—systems that will revolutionize the 21st century workplace through seamless integration of human and AI capabilities. Northeastern University Experiential Network (XN)

Partnering with sponsoring businesses and organizations, XN facilitates opportunities for students to work on short-term, real-world projects to complement their academic work.
