An academically rigorous degree program, the Bachelor of Science in Health Science includes science-based courses in biology, chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, along with electives such as pharmacology, epidemiology, public health, nutrition and healthcare management that allow you to focus in your areas of interest. Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing fields in the country. Health science graduates will be well equipped to pursue clinical and non-clinical opportunities in hospitals, clinics, government agencies, sports facilities, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies. Because of the many specialties available, your career path will be largely determined by the health science courses you select to complete your degree.

What can you do with your degree?

The Bachelor of Science in Health Science is designed for students who are interested in working in a health-related industry, either in a management or professional role. This bachelor of science degree is also well suited for students who wish to pursue a graduate degree in medicine, dentistry, respiratory therapy, nursing (direct entry), or public health.
