Financial Aid

Many students, both full- and part-time, will qualify for some form of financial aid or scholarships. We encourage all students who apply for admission to seek out these opportunities. We hope to assist you in reaching your goals to become a student at Northeastern University.

To be considered for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

You are encouraged to apply for financial assistance at the beginning of your academic year regardless of your current plans to cover the costs of your program. Having a finalized financial aid package can make accessing the aid much easier should your plans change later in the year. Please note that once you are awarded aid, you have the option to decline or cancel a portion of your award.

Total tuition due is dependent upon the total number of credit hours you are enrolled and when you enrolled.

Employer Reimbursement 
Some employers may reimburse some or all of the costs of your education. You’ll never know if you don’t ask! Reach out to your human resources department and inquire about employer reimbursement. Be sure you understand the terms of our Third-Party Reimbursement Policy before enrolling in a program.

Payment Plans 
The Northeastern Monthly Payment Plan, administered through Flywire, allows you to divide your education costs into manageable, convenient monthly installments. The Payment Plan is interest-free and can be used alone or in combination with financial aid, grants, and loans.
