First in banking, then transitioning into public accounting. He is CPA with a Masters Degree in Taxation. He currently teaches Taxation part-time at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies. Joe lives and works in the Providence, RI area. He enjoys reading, learning new languages, and just spending time at home - a historic house built in 1795.

Professional Experience

Joe wears many hats. He is a CPA with a small tax compliance practice. This keeps him busy during January through April (tax season). Outside of tax season Joe does tax consulting for other CPA firms, writes tax materials for continuing education seminars, works as a forensic accountant, and teaches part-time at Northeastern University. Joe has also taught basic accounting and ESL at various community-based adult education programs.
