Artificial Intelligence at the College of Professional Studies
AI at CPS
Practical knowledge. Human insight. Real-world impact.
Artificial intelligence is changing how people learn, work, lead, and solve problems. At Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, we bring together career-focused education, faculty expertise, use-inspired research, and industry collaboration to help learners and organizations apply AI thoughtfully, responsibly, and effectively.
The CPS Difference
An actionable approach to unlocking the power of AI
At CPS, artificial intelligence is more than a technology to study. It is a practical capability that can help people and organizations address complex challenges, improve how work gets done, and create new opportunities for innovation.
Our faculty bring academic rigor and extensive professional experience to the classroom. Working across disciplines and industries, they help learners understand not only what AI can do, but also when to use it, how to evaluate its output, and where human judgment remains essential.
Whether in the classroom, in the workplace, or through applied research, CPS creates opportunities for students, educators, researchers, and organizational leaders to build the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate an AI-enabled world.
