Biography
Serhiy Kovela is a distinguished scholar, educator, and practitioner with over 24 years of experience in project management, business resilience, and IT.
Serhiy holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MBA, an MSc in Electrical Engineering, and a PG Certificate in Higher Education. He has led and designed educational programs in the USA, UK, and Eastern Europe. Recently, he served as Campus Lead and Principal Instructor for the MSc Project Management program at Northeastern University London. He is a Certified Management and Business Educator and a Fellow at the Higher Education Academy, UK. His teaching areas include Project Management, Management Consultancy, Data Analytics, and Strategic Information Systems Management.
Serhiy’s research focuses on IT integration in M&A in banking, Business Resilience, and Agile Project Management. His recent work, ‘Integrating Theory and Practice of Banking M&A,’ showcases his expertise. Serhiy frequently presents at events organized by Project Management Institute, APMG, and other professional gatherings.
Serhiy Kovela is an Accredited AgilePM Trainer and Business Resilience Trainer. He holds various professional qualifications in project management and serves as a Project Professional Qualification Assessor for the Association for Project Management, UK. He advises global clients on project delivery, resilient organizational culture, and IT solutions.
