For over a decade, Mr. Lyons has been preparing students for leadership roles in global contexts via face to face, online, and blended formats. Courses taught at Northeastern University include:

He has also held numerous higher education leadership roles including Dean of Enrollment Management, Director of Admissions, and Director of College Advising. Mr. Lyons holds an undergraduate degree in communications, graduate degrees in education and management, a Teaching and Learning Strategies for Higher Education Certificate from Harvard University, and is a doctoral candidate in International Higher Education at Northeastern University. Since 2014, he has served as a judge for the Northeastern University Graduate Problem Solving and Case Study Competition and served on the Admissions Committee for the Nelson Mandela Foundation Washington Fellowship program. Mr. Lyons also teaches management and leadership courses at Cambridge College’s Graduate School of Management where he recently redesigned part of their MBA curriculum and is also a Faculty Adviser. He recently presented a poster at the Northeastern University College of Professional Studies "Teaching to Transform" faculty development conference. Currently, Mr. Lyons is the President and Founder of International Education Advising and Consulting Services (IEACS), an international education consulting firm.
