Overview
The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical certificate program is designed for those who already hold an undergraduate degree but need to enhance their existing academic record by completing all or most of the basic pre-medical courses, or re-take courses for the opportunity to improve their science GPA.
The coursework in this innovative undergraduate certificate enables students to take as few or as many classes as they need to successfully achieve their goals in future advanced medical studies.
With a strong personal foundation, this program offers one-on-one advising, tutoring, success coaching, and other academic support services to support you along the journey to a career in the medical field.
Program objectives

“As the Post-Bacc Pre-Med Advisor, I work closely with students from admission to program completion. I meet with students to help create and implement an academic plan for the duration of the program. This includes course selection, registration, and enrollment each semester. I am the connector to Northeastern’ s resources. Students receive support from me as their Academic Advisor, and support from Northeastern’ s Pre-Health Office.
