Please provide 3 words that encapsulate your Northeastern University experience:

Where are you from or where do you consider home?
New Delhi, India

What has your journey at Northeastern University revealed to you about yourself?
My journey at Northeastern revealed that I am more adaptable, capable, and resilient than I ever imagined. Navigating through uncertainty, I discovered my ability to lead, learn, and contribute meaningfully to the community; both academically and professionally
What motivated you to continue through challenging times in obtaining your degree?
There were times of uncertainty, especially after stepping away from full-time work to pursue higher education. But staying connected to purpose, being part of a strong student community, and seeing growth in both myself and those around me motivated me. I reminded myself that this investment in learning and development would open doors to long term fulfillment.
Experiential learning is a core component of a Northeastern education. Describe some of the highlights for you.
“Experiential learning truly defined my Northeastern journey. My co; op at State Street was a standout experience, where I applied my fintech background in a real; world environment, contributed to impactful projects, and received multiple accolades for my performance. It was a powerful intersection of my academic knowledge and industry application.
On campus, working with NU Student Temps allowed me to support university initiatives while learning from a diverse and dynamic student body. It also helped me build strong communication, recruitment, and problem; solving skills.
Serving as President of the Northeastern University Project Management (NUPM) student organization was another key highlight. Through this role, I led initiatives that connected students with industry professionals and worked to establish the first ever PMI affiliation for a student club in Boston. This experience combined leadership, strategy, and stakeholder engagement; bringing classroom lessons to life in a way that impacted the broader student community.
Each of these moments reinforced the value of hands; on learning and gave me the confidence to take initiative, lead, and adapt in dynamic environments.”
Where do you imagine yourself five years from now?
I envision myself in a leadership position, combining my project management expertise with technology and innovation, while mentoring aspiring professionals. I hope to be someone who creates opportunities for others, just as Northeastern did for me.
Is there anything else you wanted to say that we didn’t cover?
My journey began with uncertainty, but it has unfolded into a story of growth, connection, and impact. From joining the NUPM Planning Board to becoming President, contributing to PMI collaborations, working at NU Student Temps, and thriving in a high; impact co; op; I’m walking away with not just a degree, but lifelong learnings.
Being nominated for the Outstanding Master’s Student Award in Leadership, CPS Co; op Excellence Award, and the Capstone Experiential Learning Award, and being included in the Laurel and Scroll 100 awardees has made this journey even more meaningful. Northeastern helped me realize that I could bounce back, refocus, and accomplish more than I thought possible.
