About
Duane Lefevre is an adjunct professor at D'Amore-McKim School of Business as well as at Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies. He teaches courses ranging from Cultural Aspects of International Business and Strategy in Action to Introduction to Marketing in a Global Context and Marketing in Asia.
He is a Visiting Professor at Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) in Melbourne, Australia where he teaches in the Masters in Global Leadership program (a joint degree from Northeastern and SUT).
He has also led workshops for Northeastern faculty on Teaching in a Global Classroom to assist Northeastern faculty in the challenges of teaching to a diverse cultural classroom -especially Asian students.
He has led four Dialogue of Civilization programs to South Africa and India.

Duane Lefevre also works with Aperian Global, Commisceo Global Consultancy, and several other consulting companies providing training and consulting to executives and technical staff at Fortune 100 companies including Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, Walmart, Caterpillar, United Healthcare, State Street Global Advisors, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in Europe, North America and Asia. He is a specialist on India where he lived and worked for three years.
Prior to entering academia, Lefevre worked in marketing and advertising for over 25 years on brands such as Carvel Ice Cream, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and the Dancing Deer Baking Company. He also held marketing and business development roles in the Internet startups HubNet Communications and SureFire Commerce/BuyItOnline.com.
