About

I have spent the past 30 years working in communications leadership roles in agribusiness, healthcare and newspapers. I have extensive experience in internal communications, strategic communications, public relations, crisis communications, publications management, and non-profit leadership.

My goal is to make every student leave my class with something that can be put into practice immediately.

My bachelor's is in journalism, my master's is in communications and my doctorate is in adult and higher education administration. I have taught at Northeastern University since 2010.
