About
Plinio De Goes is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices program. He has spent more than 40 years in pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product companies in Brazil and the United States. His areas of expertise include developing and implementing strategies for product development, securing registrations, and optimizing teams and processes.
Previously, De Goes worked as Regulatory Head Principal at Kao Ind. and previously vice president for global regulatory affairs and product safety at GOJO Industries, Inc., global manager for over-the-counter, germ protection, and innovation technologies at Reckitt Benckiser, and as global regulatory affairs and compliance manager for Dow Corning. He has led industry coalitions and collaborated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and equivalent international agencies. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
