Biography
Ron Liebowitz is a Visiting Research Professor in the Center for the Future of Higher Education and Talent Strategy.
Prior to joining Northeastern and CPS, Liebowitz served as president of Brandeis University and, before that, Middlebury College (Vt). He was on the Middlebury faculty for 31 years, where he taught Soviet/Russian Studies and political geography, and published scholarly articles and co-edited books on these subjects.
In addition to his PhD from Columbia, he holds an M.Phil from Columbia and a B.A. from Bucknell University.
