Biography
Dr. Ben Tafoya is the Director of the Division of Local Mandates for the Massachusetts State Auditor. In that role he leads a team of researchers in examining the impact of state policy on Massachusetts cities and towns. He is a former member of the Reading Select Board (2005-2014) and Academic Program Director at Walden University. He has mentored doctoral students, taught undergraduate and graduate students. He is a frequent presenter at academic conferences and the author of an upcoming chapter on Social Equity and Public Administration on a volume called Public Affairs Practicuum.
