About
Elisabeth Neville-Ambler has been professionally shooting since 1985 starting in a Danvers studio, with whom she still assists on occasion. With an earned bachelor’s degree in Visual Media with a concentration on photography and graphic design, she continued in hi-end photographic scanning, retouching and printing from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Elisabeth received her MPS in photography from Northeastern University. As a professor in the photography and design departments at Northeastern, she obtained her certification from Adobe in Photoshop® and Lightroom®. Elisabeth began teaching at Northeastern, she teaches many photographic and design based courses. Elisabeth has created her own photography business that is connected to her artistic interest; portraiture. Elisabeth’s personal photographic work explores the portrait and it’s inherent drive to find ones persona.
Her work has been shown in many national group shows, International and multiple solo showings in the New England area. October 2011, Neville-Ambler was in a collaborative show with her late Father at The Griffin Museum in Winchester MA., of her photography and his sketches. "Eidetic Image".
Elisabeth has also been closely involved with many artists associations, national and international. Presently she is on the executive board member at the Griffin Museum, and served as Assistant Director of the TransCultural Exchange. Also, she is involved with the Copyright Alliance, ASMP and WWPI.
