Lynn McNamara

Biography

After earning her JD/MPH from George Washington University, Lynn worked as a healthcare consultant before transitioning to practicing white-collar criminal defense law.  While practicing law, she had the opportunity to teach a class at George Washington and enjoyed teaching so much that she made a career change.  Currently, Lynn teaches online courses in the College of Professional Studies’ graduate Corporate and Organizational Communication and Criminal Justice Leadership programs.  In 2019, she graduated from the Doctor of Education program at Northeastern, where her doctoral thesis focused on student-centered learning in online higher education.

Professional Experience

Lynn is a Lecturer in the College of Professional Studies’ Corporate and Organizational Communication and Criminal Justice Leadership graduate programs. Prior to joining the college in 2012, she practiced white-collar criminal defense law at a large firm in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.  While in Washington, D.C., she also participated in lobbying efforts on behalf of clients in the healthcare field.
