
Biography
Monica Lebre, MS RDN LDN, graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and has received a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition with a specialization in nutrition and fitness from Northeastern University. She started her career as an inpatient dietitian with Sodexo, Inc. in a community hospital working to improve nutrition in medical, surgical, and intensive care patients. She has worked at Brigham and Women’s and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Center for Metabolic Health and Bariatric Surgery program as the nutrition coordinator and senior bariatric dietitian. In this role, Monica was team lead for program registered dietitians and interns as well as counseled clients through the weight loss surgery process. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and her state affiliate The Massachusetts Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition to teaching at Northeastern, she also teaches nutrition courses at Bridgewater State University.
