About

Dr. Rosalie Carpenter is a lecturer for the M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration (HEA) program. In addition, she serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs & Athletics at Seton Hill University. She provides strategic leadership and direction to the offices of Athletics, Residential & Commuter Life, Student Leadership & Involvement, Community Standards, First Year & Transition Programs, Diversity & Inclusion, International Student Services, Counseling, and Health Services. 

She completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at the University of South Alabama, and her dissertation was on the Effects of Executive Leadership on Strategic Planning in Higher Education. She received a Master of Science degree in Positive Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Master of Education degree in Higher Education from the University of South Carolina. She has certificates in High Impact Coaching and Corporate Sustainability. Her areas of professional interest are in higher education finance, strategic planning & realignments, retention, creating strong cultures of student engagement and vibrancy, and strengths-based leadership.  High-quality supervision, coaching, and mentoring are central to her management philosophy.
