As you prepare to graduate as a member of the Class of 2026, we invite you to consider a meaningful opportunity to represent your peers at Commencement. The College of Professional Studies will select two student speakers—one for each ceremony—to share their stories, reflect on their journeys, and inspire classmates during this important milestone!
| Eligibility Requirements Applicants must: Complete degree requirements by the end of the Summer 2026 term Apply to graduate in the Student Hub Attend the May 1, 2026 Boston Commencement ceremony in person Application Submission Requirements: Please submit: A video (5 minutes or less) of you reciting your speech A written draft of your speech (include your name and NUID in the header) A completed consent and release form 📆Application deadline: March 1, 2026 Speech Guidelines Speeches should be 3–4 minutes when recited Please include reflections on: Why you chose the College of Professional Studies Your area of study Highlights from your CPS experience Your post-Commencement plans Words of inspiration for your classmates Upload Assistance If you experience technical issues, you may submit your video via WeTransfer, Google Drive, or OneDrive by sharing the link in the application form.
