About

Richard C. Andersen is a Professor of the Practice in the CPS Bachelor of Science in Management program. With extensive experience leading businesses into new markets, he has been director of Joppa Global Marketing Partners/RCA Partners from 2011 to 2020, delivering executive marketing, product management and operations services to clients. Previously, in executive roles at firms such as Nextchoice, Totalview Technologies, and Highstreet Networks, Professor Andersen built sales partnerships with companies such as IBM and First Data. He brings expertise in finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, government and service industries to Northeastern, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing, business entrepreneurship, information technology and networking as a part-time professor in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business from 1975 to 1995 returning in 2015 through 2022. Professor Andersen joind CPS in 2018. 

An expert in team building, product management and marketing, business development and engineering management, Professor Andersen has been  a mentor and prototype fund committee member for IDEA, Northeastern’s venture accelerator, and a proud member of Northeastern’s class of 1971.
