Biography
Hootan Kamran, Assistant Teaching Professor, Analytics
Hootan Kamran has contributed to curriculum development, including designing new courses, and serves as the sole full-time faculty member and Program Representative for the Vancouver CPS campus, coordinating part-time faculty and leading experiential learning projects with industrial partners.
His scholarly contributions include book chapters, journal papers, and numerous conference presentations, focusing on interpretable AI, spatiotemporal data analytics, and diverse topics. He actively contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering and IISE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering.
