Sergio Toporek

About

Sergio Toporek is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Master of Professional Studies in Digital Media program.

Prior to joining Northeastern and CPS, Toporek held teaching positions at Vancouver Film School, Marbella Design Academy, and Emily Carr University of Art and Design. As an experienced communication designer, Sergio has worked with a variety of small clients and multinationals. He also wrote, directed, and animated the documentary Beware of Images, where he explores the history, regulation, and social effects of mediated representation. 

In addition to his Master in Digital Media from Simon Fraser University, he holds a certificate in Higher Education Teaching from Harvard University’s Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.
