Tim Op’t Holt

Tim Op’t Holt is a professor and chair of the Cardiorespiratory Care department at the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile, Alabama. Tim’s been an RRT and member of the AARC since 1977. He is presently serving on the AARC BOD. Tim started the Problem-Based Learning courses at USA. He presently teaches patient assessment, basic respiratory care, mechanical ventilation, critical care, and research methodology. Tim and his colleagues run a clinic for uninsured patients in a primary care practice in Mobile, where they see patients with asthma, COPD, and obstructive sleep apnea.
