Brian Duran has worked over the last 10 years in New York City to create new opportunities for young people to experience the wonders of artistic expression. Currently as the Arts Education Director for Democracy Prep Public Schools he works to support teams of educators in implementing clear, sustainable, and tailored visions for arts programming in their schools. Toward this end, he equips each team with a variety of curricular, pedagogical and coaching tools, so it is well-positioned to realize its goals for high-quality arts education in its community.
