Biography
Neil Clauson is a cybersecurity practitioner, advisor, and educator with more than 25 years of experience across security operations, architecture, risk, insider threat, and security strategy.
His career has included security leadership and Field CISO roles, with experience spanning healthcare, financial services, critical infrastructure, and cybersecurity technology. He has led security teams, worked through real-world incidents and program challenges, and advised organizations on how to connect technical security decisions with business risk.
At Northeastern, Neil focuses on bringing that practical experience into the classroom and helping students understand how cybersecurity works in real organizations.
Neil holds the CISSP, CISM, and CIPM certifications and earned his MBA from Northeastern University.
