Paul Dooley



Paul Dooley PhD, served as Assistant Secretary General for the United Nations and as Acting Chief Executive Officer for the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund before retiring from the UN this year. He had been employed by the United Nations for over 28 years in various capacities including Chief Information Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the United Nations, Paul held senior level positions with Citigroup and Guardian Bank. He is currently a lecturer in the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University, teaching leadership and risk management classes in the Analytics and Enterprise Intelligence program. Paul earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, his M.A.L.S. from the State University of New York at Stonybrook, and his B.B.S. from Adelphi University. Paul and his wife live in Naples, Florida. He has two children and a granddaughter. His research interests include analytics, information quality, business intelligence, and block chain technologies. Paul has also recently become active in the Climate Change movement.
