About

My name is Rick Clare.  In addition to my teaching duties with Northeaster, I am a partner with and the Project Management Practice Director for PMCentersUSA. In my position as Practice Director, I am responsible for maintaining courseware, providing consulting services to companies, and constructing customized training material and solutions targeted at an individual company’s methodologies. Additionally, I routinely work in senior Project/Program Manager contract positions throughout the Pittsburgh area.

I have worked in Information Technology for over 30 years as a developer, trainer, project manager, business analyst, functional manager and Scrum Master. I started in IT while I was in the army in 1988 and have a great deal of technical experience, which has really helped me with this kind of Project Management.  My projects have spanned multiple industries, including Hospital Administration, Distance Education, Certification Test Administration, Healthcare Insurance, Retail, Banking, Energy and Finance.
