Retired January 2005 following 30-year career with American Lung Association. Chapter director 1979 - 1995 in NH. Vice President Field Services summer, 1995 to retirement. Since 2006 consulting to nonprofits in board development, strategic planning, & fundraising. Teaching nonprofit management classes since 2007. Taught in MS Leadership program in Vietnam for CPS summer, 2014. Interim NPM department lead 2017. Completed six-summer course in association management at U Delaware, presented by ASAE. Boardsource and Drucker Foundation training in board development and strategic planning.

Director childrens lung disease programs American Lung Association Minnepolis 1975 - 79.  Executive director American Lung Association of NH 1979 - 95.  VP Field Services at American Lung Association national headquarters NYC1995 - 2005; assess chapter performance, oversee Learning Center (volunteer and staff training), oversee chapter executive recruitment and training, coordinate strategic planning process for ALA.
