On Monday evening, July 29, leaders in higher education, faculty members, and current and prospective students attended the Doctor of Law and Policy event, “Education in the Age of Austerity.” Tom Birmingham, former Massachusetts State President and architect of the Education Reform Act of 1993, and Jim DiTullio, General Counsel for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, were the event’s main speakers and addressed the present and future state of education.
