What has your journey at Northeastern University revealed to you about yourself?
My Northeastern journey revealed that I am unshaken in adversity, audacious in ambition, and forged by every challenge I embraced. I broke free from limitations, stood my ground with purpose, and emerged unstoppable; moving forward with fearless momentum and a clear sense of who I am and what I stand for.
What motivated you to continue through challenging times in obtaining your degree?
During the toughest moments, it was the memory of my late father that carried me through. His unwavering belief in me and the strength he showed in his own life became my guiding force. It was his dream for me to pursue this path, and today, I am living that dream, honoring his legacy through my perseverance and growth.
Experiential learning is a core component of a Northeastern education. Describe some of the highlights for you.
My Co op experience at Northeastern was a turning point. It allowed me to bridge classroom learning with real-world challenges, deepening my skills and confidence. The hands-on experience, coupled with meaningful mentorship, helped me clarify my career path and reinforced my passion, making the journey both impactful and transformative.
Where do you imagine yourself five years from now?
Five years from now, I envision myself in a leadership role, driving meaningful change and empowering others around me. I hope to use the skills and knowledge gained at Northeastern to innovate and make an impact. Additionally, I look forward to returning to the NEU community, giving back what I’ve learned, and inspiring future generations to pursue their own paths with purpose and resilience.
Is there anything else you wanted to say that we didn’t cover?
My family was my bedrock. While my father taught me that true intelligence lies in empathy, my mother, a storm wrapped in serenity, showed me resilience in motion. My husband and brother championed my ambition; not as bystanders, but as believers. Their unwavering faith sharpened my resolve and ignited the leader in me.
